Attaining a College Degree without a High School Diploma is unusual, but certainly not unobtainable. Beth has never been one to take the conventional route; her personal philosophy has no place for “it can’t be done”. Beth’s experiences over the last 20 years have only reinforced that concept.

Serving as an integral part of a multi-million dollar East Coast business for the past two decades, Beth supplied solid, intuitive advice to this high-end company. She provided heart to their social structure whilst orchestrating a multitude of the inherent practical duties involved with running a large organization. Alongside fulfilling a relied upon practical role, Beth contributed her valued gut reactions regarding various decisions the company made, including financial transactions and the hiring of prospective employees.

A chance meeting with Julian Adams of STRONGBOW PICTURES was the catalyst for a quick study of post-production film festival management, demo reel producing and direction, web design and soundtracks. STRIKE THE TENT, a feature film that Julian directed, solidified her commitment to obtain an education in the world of movies. Beth also apprenticed with David Aubrey at LIGHTNINGWOOD PICTURES, and performed the humbling but necessary position of Production Assistant for ODD LOT ENTERTAINMENT on THE HORROR CHRONICLES. Producers David Greathouse and Alton Walpole contributed vast knowledge to Beth’s repertoire.

All of this experience, along with a knack at being in the right place at the right time, has expedited Beth’s ladder climb towards understanding the complexities involved in the world of movie making. Ms Slagsvol has a clear understanding of the time dedication and machinations of film production. As well as an excellent ear for music, an acute eye for detail, and a talent for design. Beth’s innate organizational skills will also benefit the CLARE team, where she is happily ensconced on board the GRYPHON ship.
